Matt is a Tax Partner at Baker Tilly. Prior to Baker Tilly, Matt was a Founding Partner of Montgomery Coscia Greilich LLP, a dominant Texas based CPA Firm. His primary disciplines include advanced tax planning and substantial transaction (M+A) services - in particular, buy side and sell side transaction structuring. His experience in starting, growing and leading a substantial business has enabled him to advise similarly situated businesses and entrepreneurs regarding numerous operational and financial issues and opportunities they face.

Prior to forming Montgomery Coscia Greilich LLP, Matt spent over two years at Montgomery Baggett & Drews LLP. While at MBD, Matt was involved in IRS representation, transaction and structure design, litigation support, estate planning and asset protection. Matt led many due diligence projects for acquisitions in Europe, Canada, Australia and the United States.

Prior to serving at MBD, Matt served over seven years at Ernst & Young, LLP. Matt worked in the entrepreneurial services group at Ernst & Young and spent time in the Tulsa, Washington DC and Dallas offices.

Matt is a Certified Public Accountant and graduated cum laude from the University of Arkansas in May 1991. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and has been published several times in their national tax magazine, "The Tax Advisor". Additionally, he is a member of the Young President's Organization (YPO) North Texas Chapter, former Vistage member, private pilot and investor in several private opportunities.

Brett is the Founder and CEO for The CFO Suite and the one with the English accent. Brett was previously a Founding Partner of The Controller Group (“TCG”), also honored as a two-time winner in the Dallas 100. After TCG was successfully acquired in a strategic combination with Tatum, Brett played an integral role in developing a national presence for the consulting practice. Brett began his career with Ernst & Young in the UK before transferring to the Dallas office, gaining a broad range of experience within the Assurance practice. He also spent a secondment with E&Y in their London office developing and delivering training in E&Y's global audit methodologies.

Brett graduated from the University of Warwick in the UK and is a Chartered Accountant. He currently serves on the advisory board for Civitas Capital Management, LLC, a specialty financial services and investment management company, HireBetter, an Austin based company looking to unlock success through the power of talent, and Talent Suite, a firm looking to create stronger, more productive employees and workplaces using data and scientifically validated methods, leadership development and coaching. He is also a Charter member of the Philanthropy Council of the North Texas Food Bank and in his free time Brett loves to school his son, Aidan, in the art of baseball and basketball.

Managing Partner | kurt wilkin

In addition to his role at Bee Cave Capital, Kurt is CEO of HireBetter with broad responsibilities including strategy, client delivery and practice development. His 20 years of public accounting, business development and consulting leadership include advising high-growth, middle-market CEO’s in a variety of industries, with one thing in common – growth.

Kurt previously founded and led The Controller Group (TCG), a professional services firm focused on Accounting, Technology and Recruiting. TCG was acquired by Tatum, a $250M CFO consultancy, in 2006 after growing to $20M in revenues and over 100 professionals. During his career at Tatum, Kurt provided strategic leadership for Tatum’s consulting practice, which represented over $50M in revenues and the majority of Tatum’s net income. Tatum had offices across the U.S. and was ultimately sold to Spherion and then Ranstad. Kurt served as a member of Tatum’s Board and focused his time on practice development and people initiatives.

Kurt’s began his career with Ernst & Young in the Entrepreneurial Services part of the Dallas audit practice. After EY and before Founding TCG, Kurt spent two years with Montgomery Baggett and Drews (a Dallas-based CPA firm that became Montgomery Coscia Greilich) and was one of the first and last employees at eFANshop, a Dallas-based e-tailer focused on licensed sports products. He is a non-practicing CPA and lives in Austin, Texas with his wife and three sons.

Associate | Parker Fyfe

Parker joined Bee Cave Capital in August of 2021 and currently serves as an Associate with the firm. Parker's primary responsibilities include evaluating potential investment opportunities, assisting in deal execution and transaction management, and supporting portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Bee Cave Capital, Parker spent a year working as a Financial Analyst for Advanced Pain Care, a pain management firm in Austin, where he assisted in analyzing business performance and making data-driven business decisions.

Parker graduated from St. Edward's University with a BBA in Finance and was a member of the St. Edward's NCAA Men's Soccer Program. Outside of the office, Parker enjoys anything outdoors and exploring the beautiful city of Austin.
